How to install the TrackGod VST into Akai

ON WINDOWS

  1. Go to your MPC preferences and set a VST folder, or just take note of one that is already there. An example can be found in the 1:08 mark of this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5xzIKoIfik)
  2. Run the TrackGod installer
  3. When you get to the TrackGod installer screen that asks for you to ‘select your VST folder’ please select the same exact folder from Step 1.
  4. When you get to the TrackGod installer screen that asks for you to ‘select your drive for Big Files’, then you can select any drive of your choosing.
  5. Rescan your VST folders similar to the 1:38 mark of this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5xzIKoIfik)
  6. Access your TrackGod VST by following the video at: 2:27 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5xzIKoIfik)

ON MAC

  1. Go to your MPC preferences and set a VST folder, or just take note of one that is there. An example can be found in the 1:08 mark of this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5xzIKoIfik)
    (Note: The default plug-in location in OS X should contain the following path: /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST if not, then please set it.)
  2. Run the TrackGod installer
  3. When you get to the installer screen that asks for you to select your drive for Big Files, then you can select any drive of your choosing.
  4. Rescan your VST folders similar to the 1:38 mark of this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5xzIKoIfik)
  5. Access your TrackGod VST by following the video at: 2:27 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5xzIKoIfik)
